Fahrenheit 9/11

Watched Fahrenheit 9/11 today. I liked the first part of the film, that caters to the logical types. Michael Moore presented facts, that I would tend to agree with, about Bush bungling the whole 9/11 and Iraq issue.

The second part caters to the emotional types. It is just about pulling your heartstrings. Although I feel strongly for the characters involved, it made as much sense to me politically as Finding Nemo.

Your reaction to movie will probably be tainted by whether you are a Republican or a Democrat. It has been made to present a single point of view and possibly influence the political opinions of those 8% (as of today) sitting on the fence.

IMHO, this is a great way to circumvent the Campaign Finance Laws and make a bundle doing it.

Whether you agree with the film's point of view or not, you will have to agree that it is not a documentary. As Adam puts it, this film is really 'Cinematic Essay', a political satire derived from a single, personal perspective, and Michael Moore definitely hammers his point across.
