Writers' Block

I haven't posted anything in a while. But, of course you know that!

It's not that I don't have anything to say, I get quite a few ideas a day that I want to talk about, but it's just that always something or the other comes up.

Most of the time I think that I should spend some time researching the topic. Maybe add a few links, find out what others say on the topic, search Google. And soon I'm lost. Something else comes up. Or I just get bored.

I realized that most of the things I have to say, other people have already said before! I don't get any breaking news. All my news comes from the establised sources like cnn, abcnews, rediff or blogs like scriptingnews or instapundit.

I don't have any unique ideas. Well, some of them may have been earth-shattering, but maybe I didn't do enough research. Maybe it's just another foolish idea.

Maybe I'm just scared of public scrutiny. Then again, it's not like thousands of people read my blog.

But the writers of the blogs I follow everyday are so prolific. Or, is it that I just read the prolific writers?

Comments

"I realized that most of the things I have to say, other people have already said before!" sounds pretty familiar to me.

But I read the other day that "we regret things we have NOT done, not things we have done". So, maybe its better to say the things you have to say. So what if somebody has said it before! And I guess, I am telling myself this more than telling you!

Looks like you ARE have a little fun, blogs and all.
